To initiate a payment plan, students must complete and sign a payment plan contract and pay a $30 administrative fee, plus one-third of the charges by the tuition due date. Download and complete the Spring term 2026 payment plan contract.

Spring term's payment plan remaining balance will be due by 5:00 pm on Friday, May 15th, 2026 to avoid a $50.00 late fee.

Students utilizing the payment plan are responsible for meeting registration and/or withdrawal deadlines for refund purposes.

  • Post 9/11 GI Bill

Veterans and their dependents must meet with COCC's Veterans Certifying Official to establish and use their benefits for college expenses. Visit our Veterans Benefits webpage for details.

  • Third Party Billing

To have your bill paid by a third party (COIC, SAIF, Voc Rehab, High School, etc.), submit your authorization forms by the tuition due date. These forms must be sent directly by the third-party organization, not by the student. Late fees will apply if authorization forms are received late. Check your Bobcat Web Account to verify that payment has posted. If you have any questions, please call Fiscal Services at 541-383-7222.

  • Private Scholarships

Private Scholarships are posted to your account by the tuition date of each term. For more information, contact the Student Account Manager at 541-383-7239.

  • Oregon Promise

Recent high school graduates are potentially eligible for Oregon Promise grants. Find out if you are eligible and what you need to do to receive and keep your award. Oregon Promise grants are posted to student accounts by tuition deadline. For more information, please contact our Financial Aid Office at 541-383-7260 or coccfinaid@cocc.edu

Late Payments

You are responsible for tuition and fees for classes not dropped by the deadline. If you do not pay by the tuition deadline:

  • You will NOT be dropped from your classes.
  • You will be charged a $30 late payment fee once a week, up to three weeks ($90 maximum).
  • A financial hold will be placed on future registration. Your account will be sent to collections at the end of the term.

Waivers

  • 65+ Tuition Waiver

Students 65 years of age and older may be eligible for a tuition waiver. Review the 65+ Tuition Waiver Form/Policy to see if you can benefit and learn how to apply.

Eligibility (all requirements must be met):

    1. Must be an Oregon resident
    2. Must be 65 years of age or older at the beginning of the term (see COCC Academic Calendar for dates).
    3. The tuition waiver is valid for a maximum of 8 credits per term.
    4. The tuition waiver is valid only if the class is audited and if space is available (changing to graded will result in tuition/fees being assessed accordingly).

    Steps:

    1. Identify desired classes from the credit class schedule. Community Learning courses are not covered.
    2. Make sure you have a current COCC application and application fee payment must be on file. The deadline to submit a new application is the Friday prior to the start of the term that you wish to take any class(es).
    3. No placement test is required for classes taken with the tuition waiver.
    4. Attend the class on the first meeting date.
    5. Ask the instructor is space available in the class. If so, have instructor sign in the appropriate space on the form. Note: Students using the 65+ waiver are not eligible for priority registration. Priority registration is reserved for tuition-paying students. As a result, students registering before the first day of class will not be eligible to use the waiver.
    6. Pay course fees by the second week of the term or at time of registration. Only tuition charges will be waived for approved classes.
  • Application Fee Waiver

You may qualify to have your $25 application fee waived if you meet one of the following:

    • Student Aid Index (SAI): Your SAI comes from your FAFSA and shows your family’s financial resources. It’s used to help determine your eligibility for federal and state financial aid. If your FAFSA shows an SAI below 5500, you qualify for an application fee waiver.
    • Public or Tribal Assistance: If you receive benefits like SNAP, TANF, SSI, or support from a tribal assistance program (such as through the Bureau of Indian Affairs).

When you submit your admissions application, you’ll have the option to request a fee waiver and upload your documentation. Please be sure your documentation shows your full name so we can ensure eligibility.
