Sports and Recreation Overview

Club Sports

Intercollegiate competition against other Colleges and Universities on and off campus. Focused on skill-development and teamwork, Club Sport teams have paid coaches and are the most competitive sport option at COCC.  Club Sports are open to currently enrolled COCC and dual-enrolled OSU-Cascades students (credit minimum differs per sport).

Intramural Sports

Students, faculty, staff, and community members of all skill levels the opportunity to play for fun, compete, and build community on campus.

Open Play Sports

Students, faculty, staff, and community members can access COCC athletic facilities year round, both on-campus in the Mazama Building and off-campus through partnerships with local facilities.

Annual Races

A tradition at COCC for over 30 years! Our three, annual, running races are open to students, staff, and the community.

Mazama Facility Guidelines

To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment or all users, please adhere to the following guidelines:

FootwearClosed-toe shoes must be work at all times while using the facility

Appropriate AttireProper fitness clothing is required at all times. Clothing should be safe, respectful, and suitable for physical activity.

Youth SupervisionAnyone under the age of 16 must be directly supervised by a responsible adult at all times

Facility Rules: All users are required to follow the posted rules and regulations in each area, including but not limited to:
       • Fitness Center/Weight room
       • Gymnasium
       • Yoga Studio
       • All other facility areas

Conduct & Equipment: Users are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and use all equipment proper and its intended use

EnforcementAny misuse of the facility or equipment, poor sportsmanship, or disregard for these rules may result in suspension or loss of Mazama facility privileges
