Facility Access & Membership
Access to Mazama Recreation Facilities is open COCC students, faculty, staff, and the general public. Access is granted and renewed on a per term basis (Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring).
Any individuals using Mazama facilities including the gymnasium, fitness center, courts, and fields as well as during open play hours, are required to purchase a membership for the current term.
All participants must complete registration, liability waiver and obtain a facility access sticker at the Boyle Education Center each term.
COCC Membership Rates
COCC Students: $20
COCC Faculty and Staff: Free
Wickiup Students: Free
Student Veterans: Free
Students enrolled in an HHP course: Free
Community Membership Rates
Community Rate: $130
OSU-Cascades Student: $90
*Community and OSU-Cascades rates are prorated based on the week of the term (ex.
4 weeks into the term the community rate is $91 instead of the full $130).
Important Notes
- Full rates apply prior to the first day of each term
- Prorated rates begin on subsequent weeks
- Facility access ends at the beginning of the following term
- Access includes use of designated Mazama facilities during posted hours
Mazama Facility Guidelines
To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment or all users, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Footwear: Closed-toe shoes must be work at all times while using the facility
Appropriate Attire: Proper fitness clothing is required at all times. Clothing should be safe, respectful,
and suitable for physical activity.
Youth Supervision: Anyone under the age of 16 must be directly supervised by a responsible adult at all
times
Facility Rules: All users are required to follow the posted rules and regulations in each area, including
but not limited to:
• Fitness Center/Weight room
• Gymnasium
• Yoga Studio
• All other facility areas
Conduct & Equipment: Users are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and use all equipment proper
and its intended use
Enforcement: Any misuse of the facility or equipment, poor sportsmanship, or disregard for these
rules may result in suspension or loss of Mazama facility privileges

COCC facilities are available for reservation for special events, group activities, and organized programs. Below is some important information to help guide your planning.

COCC Event Rental Insurance Requirements
Event organizer are required to obtain and provide proof of general liability insurance prior to facility use.

- A Certificate of Insurance showing at least $1,000,000 per occurrence
- Coverage must be valid on your event date(s)
- COCC must be listed as additionally insured
- Include a copy of the endorsement with your certificate
While COCC does not endorse specific providers, some groups have used companies such as Eventured for event insurance.
Food & Beverage Guidelines
Water/Coffee/Tea service is not provided and must be arrange through catering.

- Bend Campus: Sodexo Catering is our exclusive catering provider and must be given the first opportunity to provide food and beverage service.
- Redmond/Madras Campus: You are welcome to use Sodexo Catering, an outside catering services, or bring in your own food.
Custodial Fees for Catered Events
A cleaning fee will be charged when food or beverages are served:

- Classrooms & Conference Rooms: $50
- Wille Hall (Bend): $75
Note: These fees cover standard cleaning. Additional charges apply for excessive mess or failure to reset the space as required.
