1Determine Eligibility

You are eligible to apply to TRIO SSS if you meet at least one of these criteria:

• First-Generation College Student: Neither parent earned a bachelor's degree.
• Income Qualified: Meet federal low-income guidelines, as determined by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Documented Disability: Have a documented disability (registration with Student Accessibility Services is encouraged but not required).

 

2Apply to the TRIO Program

Complete the online application to be considered for the TRIO Program. Applications are reviewed for completion, eligibility and fit.

 

3Intake Assessment

---

Qualified applicants will be invited to an intake assessment meeting with TRIO staff. This conversation will help us understand a student’s background, strengths, goals and support needs. There are no right or wrong answers, our goal is to learn how we can best support your success at COCC.
