Computers in the Library

Stand-up kiosk computer at Barber Library

Computers

COCC's ITS department has outfitted the main floor of the Barber Library as a Computer Lab with about 30 computer workstations. There are also computers in the study rooms and scattered throughout the second floor. Stand-up kiosks on both floors provide quick access to the Libraries' catalog.

Use of the Libraries' computers is governed by COCC's Acceptable Use of Information Technology Resources policy (G-22-0)

Library computers require a COCC login. Community members can request a 180-day network account at the Circulation Desk.

One multimedia station provides access to Adobe licensed software (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.). Users must have or create their own free Adobe account to use this software. Library staff are unable to offer individual instruction or assistance in using Adobe programs.

One workstation is height-adjustable and wheelchair accessible and is equipped with a large-font keyboard.
