Join award-winning singer, songwriter, and poet, Beth Wood, for an interactive workshop exploring the intersection of songwriting and poetry.

Polishing Poems
April 9, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Explore revision strategies to help poems feel intentional, focused, and ready to share. While especially useful for students considering submitting to the COCC literary magazine or writing contest, it’s open to anyone curious about how poems evolve through revision. Participants are encouraged to bring one or two poems in progress!

Prompt Poetry Writing

Participants will receive various prompts to choose from and then given time to be inspired and write. All are welcome!
