  • Accounts & Passwords

    Single Sign-On: Your COCC username/email address automatically signs you into various systems.

    Password Reset: There are a few ways to reset your password. Your password is required to be changed every 180 days.

    Locked Account: If your account becomes locked, you can unlock it by yourself.

    Department Folder Permissions: Access to files and folders on the N: drive, group folders, and department folders are based on your user account. Additional permissions can be added if needed.

  • Email & Cloud Services
    Microsoft 365: Students, benefited employees and part-time credit faculty at COCC have access to the Microsoft 365 suite of applications. Login with your COCC username and password. 

    Microsoft Teams: Microsoft Teams is a digital hub that brings conversations, content, and apps together in one place. Capabilities include: Team chats, group collaboration, voice and video calling, document sharing, group calendars, activities, and shared tasks all in one place.

    OneDrive: OneDrive is a Microsoft cloud service that lets you store your files, share them with others, and get them from anywhere on any device. OneDrive is a part of the Microsoft ecosystem that shares storage space with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Computers & Devices
    Computer Support: All computers on the campuses are managed and supported by the ITS department.

    Laptop Checkout: Laptops are available for checkout to COCC employees. Barber Library loans laptops for students.

    Printers and Copiers: ITS manages printers and copiers on all campuses.
  • Network & Communications
    Wireless Network: Students and staff can access the Wireless Network around the campus. It requires login with their COCC email address and password. Their is also an Open Community network available in limited locations which does not require a login.

    Wired Network: The wired network is what the COCC computers operate on. It is accessible from off campus via remote desktop or VPN.

    Phones: The ITS department manages the phone system.
  • Software Applications
    Software Catalog: ITS provides standard licensed and open-source software.

    Instructional Software: ITS provides all of the instructional software needed. This includes instructor, classroom, and computer labs.

    Desktop Applications: All desktop applications are provided by the ITS department.

    Software Updates: From time to time the ITS department will update the software on computers. The updates are verified before being applied. These updates include windows and applications.
  • Classroom Technology
    Audio-Visual Support:  The ITS department provides support for all of the audio and visual technology on the campuses.

    Streaming Classrooms: There are numerous streaming classrooms on the campuses.

    Event Checkout: The ITS department can provide equipment to checkout for events. The department can also setup technology for events.
  • Student Technology
    Student Tech Support: ITS Student Tech Support provides basic technical support for all students. We can assist with login issues, internet access, college software, device troubleshooting, printing, and other technology questions.

    Computer Labs:
    Drop-in Computer Labs provide access to computers, Wi-Fi, printers, and technical support.

    Student Printing:
    Bobcat PRINT provides secure printing for students and community members on designated campus printers. The cost per page is $0.05 for black & white and $0.15 for color printing.
  • Remote Work Resources
    ITS supports Remote Desktop, VPN, and other remote work resources for employees.
  • Information Security
    The Office of Information Security deploys various measures and practices aimed at ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.
  • Project Management Office
    The Project Management Office evaluates and implements technology projects across the campuses.
