Madras Campus Expansion Overview

The Madras Campus Expansion: Growing Together Campaign represents a significant investment in Central Oregon Community College’s commitment to equitable access, regional workforce development, and community partnership in Jefferson County and beyond. Through this campaign, COCC expanded its Madras campus to better serve students, families, and employers in Central Oregon, creating a welcoming and modern learning environment that supports both academic success and community connection.

 

The expansion provides increased classroom and program space designed to meet the growing demand for health care training, child care, and student services in the region. By expanding the Madras campus, COCC strengthens its ability to offer high-quality instruction, workforce-aligned programs, and critical support services closer to where students live and work—reducing barriers to access and increasing educational attainment.

This project reflects COCC’s long-term strategic priorities by fostering regional growth, supporting student success, and ensuring that all Central Oregonians have access to affordable, relevant, and high-impact education—now and into the future.
