Veterans Work Study

“Earn while you learn” at COCC through the Veterans Work Study program. This opportunity allows eligible student veterans to receive a non-taxable hourly allowance in exchange for providing services that support fellow veterans on campus or in the community. The Veterans Affairs (VA) Work Study program offers a meaningful way to gain experience, stay connected with other veterans and earn extra income while pursuing your education.

Available Positions

  • VA Work Study Assistant

    All positions are currently filled

    As a VA Work-Study Assistant with the COCC Veterans Program, you will support student veterans and military-affiliated students through veteran outreach, VA education benefit support, and Veterans Resource Center services.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist students with basic information about VA education benefits, campus resources, and Veterans Program services
    • Support veteran-focused outreach, communications, events, and resource activities
    • Assist with VA-related administrative tasks and Veterans Resource Center operations consistent with VA Work-Study program requirements
