Using Data to Drive Decisions

Institutional Effectiveness

Institutional Effectiveness (IE) advances College-wide improvement efforts by using data to answer meaningful questions that inform decisions and influence positive change. IE can achieve this mission by:

  • Conducting surveys, studies and analyses rooted in advancing student success.
  • Making data accessible through a robust dashboard environment.
  • Advancing meaningful data-informed plans aligned with COCC mission and goals.
  • Reporting data to external agencies to meet state, federal and grant requirements.
  • Supporting COCC efforts to stay aligned with higher education accreditation standards.
  • Being a key player in fostering a cohesive approach to data management and utilization.
